before you do anything consider how much you'd be willing to find a new coffee shop.

also, i guess it depends on how well you know each other, but i'd still strongly advise against the cd idea, those kinda things seem like they'd work at the timme when you're digging on someone but you'll be slapping your forehead months later whenever you remember what you did to that girl in the coffee shop.

depends what kind of music you're playing.

if you want to do a kinda indie-rock thang you should give up before mid-20's in my opinion.....probably same with heavy rock and roll stuff, nothing looks worse than 30-40 year olds playing ac/dc, powderfinger, silverchair influenced rock music. although now i think about it not any age would look good playing that music.

however if you want to play folk stuff, no age limit.
