yeah, i reckon if it's a mutual thing it's fine but it can lead you into bad habits: i had a punchy relationship with my first boyfriend (he was a bit of a Farm Boy) and then i remember seriously hurting the sensitive actor type i went out with after.
which is funny in retrospect cos he was cheating on me.
