I meant 3-5 years sorry. And also - even if the headline act is a friggin' prick, you still behave in a professional way - they ARE the headline artist - it's THEIR tour. So, deal with it, and perform to the best of your ability.

I know the few times bands I've managed have gotten international supports - we are respecful to the artist, the tour manage, the stage manager, the on stage engineers, the bouncers, etc.

Also, I booked a venue a while back, if any band was ''doing nangs'' or lighting fire on stage, they would be removed by security and never asked back.

I've read over this thread since last posting. It seems that this band Teenage Mothers are pretty new, and have been very lucky to just get this support and The Kills support. They have done the 3-45 years of shitty gigs, slowly building a fanbase - i.e. worked hard like most bands - they have just been given massive opportunities for what seems like not very much hard work - therefore they don't appreciate these opportunities - any other band who worked hard to build up a name, would think of an opportunity like this as an amazing step forward and would be respectful to the tour manage, the artist, and all involved.

Ah, so now Lunatic Ent. has had them remove their whinging facebook article. way to go guys, why don't you go ahead and make sure every promoter in australia knows you behave like little brats. Good job.

Clearly, getting that support was a massive step for this band, yet they pissed it away, choosing to have a good time, rather than making the most of their opportunity. This kind of press they have created to try and come off like the good guys will only hurt their name further (at least that's what I think).

I think, if you get a chance at a tour like that - you be as professional as you can be so that the promoter/s might consider you for more tours in the future....let alone what damage they have done with regards to M83 and their management, who will no doubt make sure everyone in their network knows who ''to avoid'' when touring Australia....

But that's just me.

You may be on to something King_Rat.

I downloaded Friends With Benefits, and it kicked in within 10 minutes. I then downloaded it from a different source, and it took about 30 minute to kick it. But I gather if I tried again, it would still do it.

The issue is, I want to just have them all on one hard drive and not discs.

And I don't want to pay for it to be fixed, which is what some websites are claiming they offer.
