Just when you started to doubt your place in the regurgitating rock world, The Pink Fits are back to reassure you that this ain’t Kansas anymore. Wollongong's premier garage-punkers, THE PINK FITS, hit Melbourne town hard this weekend with three shows in under 24 hours. First off Friday at the Pony 2am slot, then Saturday arvo at the Tote front bar from 5pm w/ Ooga Boogas and knocking you dead later that night in the Espy front bar. All shows in launch of their new cd/ep Super Mini Album out now thru Off The Hip Records.

From the pumping hearts of garage passion and the lands beyond the monthly à la mode, comes a release of merrymaking hootenanny and hip shaking insanity.

The Pink Fits are proud to liberate the great unwashed with their latest release “SUPER MINI ALBUM”. This is a gathering of six songs which display the fervour for fuzz, the reckless freedoms of weekend addictions, the beating hearts of soiled footpaths and the pleasure of the moment when you just know it is time to dance.

SUPER MINI ALBUM was recorded on a lost holiday away from the jam room, under the watchful ears of the legendary Al Wright. The songs wind through a mixture of primal pulses and swinging laments as they try to capture their philosophy on tape. This is a band recorded as live as possible; to give you as much sweat marinated humanity as you can soak up through your crackling speakers.

The Pink Fits want to press their case for absolute domination of the apathetic garage fans and cynical rock pigs left floundering under the hooves of the throwaway technological age. Everyone else can get on board while they still can….
