Sydney six-piece The Devoted Few are currently in Nashville, where their forthcoming third album is being mixed by American producer Jacquire King, whose credits include Kings of Leon, Modest Mouse and Tom Waits. The disc, Baby You’re A Vampire, is tentatively scheduled for release later this year, and Devoted Few frontman Ben Fletcher is clearly happy with the work to date.
“This is the first time we’ve chosen to take TDF recordings overseas and it’s definitely the time to do it,” explained the former Bluebottle Kiss member via media release. “I think this is our most important record to date, and I’m really excited about hearing the results when Jacquire gets his hands on these tracks.”
