The final two hometown gigs of a national tour by Sydney band Bluebottle Kiss were cancelled after frontman Jamie Hutchings was hospitalised for emergency surgery, reportedly due to a badly infected tooth. The two Annandale shows were the climax of the run of dates to support the Bluebottle Kiss’ recent ‘Slight Return + Out Seeds’ EP, with a live album planned from tapes of the gigs. Hutchings is now in a stable condition, with the headlining slots filled by The Camels last night and The Devoted Few tonight (with Deloris). Full refunds are available for pre-purchased tickets.
