With their debut album Stand Out/Fit In scheduled for release on Saturday 5 May, sharp suited 60s pop-influenced trio The Basics (whose ranks include Wally De Backer, a.k.a. Gotye, on drums), have announced a tri-state residency in April to introduce their new material. The current single from Melbourne group is ‘Looking Over My Shoulder’ and the residency dates are:
