Silverchair, who have made a habit recently of headlining Australian festivals, have now been announced as the headliner for Melbourne’s 15th annual Push Over all-ages festival. Leaving Luna Park for its new home of Shed 4 @ Docklands, Push Over 2007 features Daniel Johns and his cohorts, Something For Kate, Behind Crimson Eyes, Children Collide, Karnivool, The Spazzys, Fire Underground, Bliss N Eso and a host more. The 10 hours of music on the Labour Day weekend (a nice counterpoint to Golden Plains at Meredith) will revolve around three stages, including one for hip-hop and another for FreeZA’s Push Start band competition. Tickets are $55 and on sale now.
