Related: Wolfmother.
Having sold over a million copies of their self-titled debut album internationally, earnt a Grammy nomination and a nod at The Brits, Wolfmother will return to Australia at the end of March and fulfil their destiny by playing a gig at a castle. Granted, it’s only Kryal Castle, the mediaeval theme park near Ballarat, in rural Victoria, but nonetheless the Tolkien vibe will be strong.
The show is one of a handful the arena rocking trio will play in a quick trip home, as well as their already announced festival appearances at the West Coast Blues and Roots Festival in Perth on Saturday 31 March, the East Coast Blues and Roots Festival in Byron Bay on Thursday 5 April and The Great Escape in Sydney on Friday 6 April. Tickets for the new gigs go on sale Monday 29 January and the dates are:
University of Canberra Refectory Hall
Thursday 29 March
Kryal Castle, Ballarat
Friday 30 March
Panthers, Newcastle
Tuesday 3 April
Barr Smith Lawns, Adelaide University
Monday 9 April
