Sophisticated lover Donny Benét will be hosting a month of ‘Dinner & Duets’ in Goodgod’s front bar/canteen, enlisting the likes of Kirin J Callinan, Isabella Manfredi, Spod and Jack Ladder to assist in bringing to life some of the ‘greatest songs of all time’ – classics by Tina Turner, Miami Sound Machine, Brian Ferry and their ilk. Entry is free, and themed eats and drinks specials will also apply.

– Poison City have announced the forthcoming release of New Design, Deep Heat’s new 10” EP. Recorded during a cheeky stopover in Philadelphia on their recent US tour, New Design comes hot on the heels of 2012’s Low Lights. Recorded by Steve Roche at Permanent Hearing Damage Studios, New Design will be available in both vinyl and digital editions on March 29.

Deep Heat's Lowlight was one of the best releases in 2012 easily I reckon.
Seeing Kirin Callinan sing Tina Turner would be quite a sight, wish I could make it along tonight.
