– Off The Hip are putting on a benefit concert in a show of solidarity for much-loved US imprint Norton Records. Home of Link Wray, The Dictators, Roky Erikson and many others, Norton Records’ Brooklyn was submerged by hurricane Sandy’s storm surge, wiping out most of the label’s catalogue.
Taking place at Melbourne’s Old Bar on Saturday December 15, the line-up will feature Midnight Woolf, Mesa Cosa and The Reprobettes. Entry is a cool $10, and all proceeds go to Norton Records.
