Watch: Jack Ladder’s Underwear Ad

Related: Jack Ladder.
Maudlin Sydney singer Jack Ladder has become the latest Australian musician to soundtrack a Bonds television commercial. In his deepest baritone, Ladder and his Dreamlanders (yes, that’s Kirin J Callinan’s glacial guitar fretting away in the background) have recorded a take on the yuletide standard, ‘12 Days of Christmas’, to spruik the “full range of Bonds iconic products for men, women, kids, and bubs”. It follows Bonds’ tube bra campaign, featuring Ratcat’s ‘That Ain’t Bad’ and a cameo from Simon Day; and an ad featuring Super Wild Horses’ ‘Standing On The Corner’ for a line of women’s hipsters.

so strayan
well he's been doing inappropriate supports since day one so it makes sense to be the inappropriate choice for support garments

Check your ''facts'' Mess+Noise.
yeah! that's not his 'deepest baritone'.
care to elaborate?
what ''fact'' did we mess up?
Tell me more
Tell me more
Did he put up a fight?
i think it may have been the ''maudlin'' part.
This.
Also, I would advise against climbing a tree in nothing but a bra and panties - what if you slip? You could graze your hoohaa. Or get a stick caught up there!
''spruik'' shoulda been ''help indie consumers make more informed choices''
''australian''?
''musician''?
Jack Ladder sounds more like Stephen Merritt than Nick Cave in this.
maybe kirin didn't play the guitar on this?
maybe 12 days of christmas isn't a yuletide standard? who knew?

it's mercy arms all over again!
Still as shit ever.
Yes, I logged in just to say that.
Whenever I read the name Jack Ladder on here my mind always goes through the same thought process... ''Oh Jack Ladder, that's that tall cunt whose real name is Tim Rogers... haha, that's funny, poor bastard had to change his name didn't he?... the Oz music scene ain't big enough for two Tim Rogers. I wonder if his adopted Ladder name is some sort of reference to his height? ...prolly not, only short arses need ladders... I might listen to his music someday... I hear he sounds just like Nick Cave... ha, one Nick Cave is enough! Oh look!... another thread... doo-dee-doo-dee-doo....''
