Forthcoming: Little Red

Related: Little Red.

What: Midnight Remember by Little Red.
When: September 10 through Liberation.
Key notes: Second album for all-singing Melbourne five-piece. Follow-up to 2008 debut Listen to Little Red, which cracked the ARIA Top 30 on the strength of singles ‘Coca Cola’, ‘Witchdoctor’ and ‘Misty I’. Produced by Scott Horscroft (Panics, The Presets). Features lead single ‘Rock It’, which we described as “an interesting song in that it keeps the essential ingredients of Little Red … but underplays, if not excising altogether, the band’s previous sock-hop sound.”
From the presser: “Midnight Remember is unquestionably a quantum leap in songwriting and production … You are as likely to hear echoes of Phoenix to The Pogues, early U2 to MGMT, with lashings of Bob Dylan and his erudite prose seeping through.”

Title is too Aleks and the Ramps. But more interestingly I read it as 'Midnight Member'. Socks appeal.
i like the cover
They killed a real owl to get that picture of it's soul, you know.
I thought they may have commissioned a celestial portrait
Who's got the money for that sort of malarkey these days, with the music industry in such a dire financial state?
Cheaper to go back to basic- owl, axe, Instamatic.
What is this new genre ''sock hop''?
Man...I can't put my finger on it, but that album cover reminds me of another very similar one....damn....that's going to kill me all day not remembering it.
...ah, it's okay, I remember now, it's not another 'bird/album' image, it's Black Sabbath's Paranoid. don't know if this will work
colour scheme and midnight in title bring to mind midnight jugs' dystopia cover...
shaun, that cover reminds me of
Next.
At least this artwork is better than the first one.
SICK COVER!
The cover art seems to be at odds with the music, to be honest.
it's a great album, really really good. nothing like the first. which wasn't half bad either.
