Related: Peabody.

What: Loose Manifesto by Peabody.
When: October 1 via Peabrain Recordings/MGM.
Key notes: Fourth album for Sydney-based rock quartet, who formed in 1995. Follow-up to 2008’s Prospero. Recorded in four “short days” in a small shack in Ball’s Head, Sydney, overlooking navy and fishing ships, and an old coal loading dock. Engineered by Tim Kevin. Recorded on the same 8-track tape machine that Nirvana tracked Bleach. Features new single ‘Black Narcissus’, named after Rumer Godden’s novel set in colonial India.
From the presser: "Loose Manifesto ridicules the meaninglessness of the modern world through a series of short bursts, aural assaults, hypnotic rhythms, verbal sprays and carefully crafted diatribes.”
