Princess One Point Five (P1.5 to their mates) have finally set a release date for their fourth album, the follow-up to 2008’s Vous Je Vous.
A year in the making, What Doesn’t Kill You will be out on June 11 through Pharmacy Records/MGM. It sports first single ‘Today’, a breezy acoustic ditty, which has been doing the rounds on triple j and community radio of late. The band have just released a new video for ‘Today’, which features key members Sarah-Jane Wentzki and longtime collaborator Richard Andrew (Underground Lovers) riding around on tricycles in children’s clothes. It’s sure to be a big hit with the paraphilic infantilism set:
In addition, the band have announced a month-long residency at the Builder’s Arms in Melbourne throughout June. The shows will feature a rotating cast of guests including Sophie Koh, Flying Scribble, Patinka Cha Cha, Cuba Is Japan, Lehmann B Smith and Ben Montero (The Brutals). Entry is $8. Dates below.

F*&%ing love these guys!
Looking forward to hearing the newie.
'breezy ''acoustic'' ditty' - did you listen to the song and/or watch the video?
I love this.. SJW is a great songwriter, love the video clip too.
It does indeed feature both acoustic and electric instruments. I reckon 'breezy' is a pretty good description.
The clip has been entered in the Catapult song contest, so for all of you who like the song, and/or video- vote for it here: http://catapultsongcontest.com.au/Cz
Hope to see y'all at one of the June shows.
Thanks!
Woo! Loving 'Today' get's stuck in my head every time I hear it on the J's.
Had Today stuck in my head all day. Great song and clip.
