If The Bank Holidays’ debut album As A Film was “seasonally specific” to summer, its follow-up opts for more autumnal hues.
Dubbed Sail Becomes A Kite, the album has been described as a “surprising left turn” for the Perth quartet, showcasing a moodier and more reflective side to the band. It was recorded with Martin Roth at ABC Studios and Steve Bond (The Panics, Snowman) at Cazfair House, both in Perth, and will be released on July 17 via Lost and Lonesome Recording Co, with distribution through MGM.
The Bank Holidays will launch the album on June 19 at The Amplifier Bar in Perth, supported by The Morning Night and Goodnight Tiger.

album is great. sounds like they've been overdosing on shins and beach house. but in a good way.
Whoaaa, loved this band and was sad when they seemed to drop off the radar completely. Anywhere where I can listen to some yet?
