Golden Plains Playing Times

Organisers have announced the timetable for the Golden Plains festival in Meredith, Victoria, over the Labour Day long weekend (March 6-8).

The whole shebang kicks off with an “opening ceremony” at 2pm followed by Flip Out headliners Royal Headache at 2.05pm. Early risers/insomniacs are in for a treat on Sunday morning with Super Wild Horses playing first (10.10-10.45am), while The Midnight Juggernauts occupy the coveted midnight slot.

For the first time, the event will feature a keynote address, “Why Music Is Good For Your Brain”, delivered by Professor Hugh McDermott from the Bionic Ear Institute after Super Wild Horses at 11am. Another first: as a result of new legislation, no cigarettes will be sold.

I was thinking 'wow that's mighty far to go just to see Pavement again & Monotonix, but then I saw Dinasaur Jr straight after Pavement... Guess I HAVE to go now.

Jeffrey Lewis looks good too, but who the fuck manages Jack Ladder? I'd think that dude should get a much better slot than that?

Ash-showoff  said about 1 year ago:

Jack Ladder bored the living crap out of me last time I saw him.
