Alps’ Chris Hearn is about to embark on a tour that won’t see him back home in Newcastle until late February next year. Over the next three months, Hearn will play 39 shows in Australia, the US and the UK, with another 15 more to be announced.
The tour kicks off at the Front Gallery in Canberra this Thursday (December 17) with US acts Castanets and Tiger Saw. Hearn will then spend more than a month touring Australia, New Zealand and the US west coast with both acts, as supports and also as a touring member of Tiger Saw. After that, he’ll play a run of solo dates along the US east coast, before playing shows with Australian expats Girl Mountain and New Zealand’s So So Modern in Europe in February. Full dates here.
