Witch Hats To Make Meredith Bow

Witch Hats will finally get their chance to perform on the hallowed stage of the Supernatural Amphitheatre in Meredith, Victoria, this weekend.
The Melbourne four-piece have been drafted in to the Meredith Music Festival line-up as 11th hour replacements for San Diego’s Crocodiles, who have pulled out of their upcoming Australian tour due to “serious” circumstances, believed to be a death in the family. In addition to their performance at the Meredith Music Festival, Crocodiles were scheduled to play sideshows at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory on December 9, at The Zoo in Brisbane with Patrick Wolf on December 10 and at Melbourne’s Northcote Social Club on December 12.
“We’d like to stress that the band were absolutely eager to join their fans here in Australia to play live for us all, and that the matter that has kept this from happening is quite serious indeed,” said Crocodiles' local representatives Speak N Spell. “We will do our level best to ensure the tour comes to fruition at some time in the near future and apologise to all who have been looking forward to the show.”
Witch Hats will now perform in Crocodiles time slot: Friday, December 11, at 6pm. Full timetable here.
