In Brief: Sydney Laneway Sells Out, BDO ‘Super Ballot’

Thinking of going to the Sydney leg of the St Jerome's Laneway Festival? Think again. The shift from Circular Quay to the Sydney College of The Arts in Rozelle has paid off in spades it seems, with the event now officially sold out. Tickets are still available for Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and, for the first time, Auckland. For ticketing information click here. The second round of acts will be announced in early December
With all legs of next year’s Big Day Out sold out, organisers have taken the unprecedented step of running a “Super Ballot” to divvy up the remaining few tickets. (Er, isn’t it “sold out”?). The final chance to see a bunch of bands you’ve seen at the Big Day Out before will be on December 3, 9pm, when all remaining ballot tickets will be allocated – until they find a few more under the couch, of course. After the ballot is drawn, your only hope of going to the Big Day Out will be jetting to Auckland or swapping with other diehards at the official ticket exchange. Register for the “Super Ballot” by following the prompts at www.bigdayout.com.

Does every lame hipster kid HAVE to hear Ray-Bans?
See above photo for exhibit A.
It's just the fashion no timewaster.
Why did you / do you wear headbands?
Because that photo was taken at a skatepark and I have to stop the hair getting in my eyes when I'm skating.
use a shoelace, sook
It was a shoelace, you knobhead. Have a look at the photo, if it matters so much to you.
