Festivals In Brief: Peats Ridge, Queenscliff, BDO

The second round of acts have been announced for December’s Peats Ridge festival, with Deep Sea Arcade, Lost Valentinos, Seekae and Fergus Brown among the local performers added to the bill. They will join an already sizeable Aus/NZ contingent that includes Sarah Blasko, The Panics, Liam Finn, Leader Cheetah, Dappled Cities and Jack Ladder. Limited tickets for the event, which runs from December 29 to January 1 in Glenworth Valley, NSW, are still available for purchase from here … Speaking of Leader Cheetah, the Adelaide quartet have been added to the Queenscliff Music Festival line-up. They will join recent additions Gun Street Girls and Matt Joe Gow & The Deadleaves, as well as Ed Kuepper & The Kowalski Collective, Even and Bertie Blackman, at the event which runs from November 27-29 in rural Victoria. Early bird tickets have been snapped up, but several ticket packages are still available via the festival’s website … With both legs of the Sydney Big Day Out now officially sold out, organisers have announced a final 3000 tickets per show. (Wait a second, we thought it was “sold out”?). The tickets will be available for purchase via ballot through the BDO website.
