Drones To Release Live LP

This is how M+N described The Drones’ performance at the opening of Brisbane’s Hi-Fi Bar in April this year. Perhaps we were onto something. The road-weary Melbourne quartet will release a live recording of the show next month.
Live At The Hi-Fi, out October 1 through ATP/MGM, showcases tracks from throughout the band's career, stretching as far back as their first LP, Here Comes The Lies (2002). Highlights include ‘The Minotaur’ and ‘Nail It Down’ from latest album Havilah and ‘Shark Fin Blues’ from the AMP-winning Wait Long By The River. The album will be available as a limited edition companion to Havilah or as a stand-alone digital download via iTunes.
