After a Big Sound showcase in Brisbane on September 9, enigmatic Townsville outfit The Middle East will reacquaint themselves with east-coast audiences with a slew of shows in October.
The band will perform a pair of back-to-back all-ages shows in Brisbane and Sydney, before heading down the Hume to Canberra and Melbourne, where the tour will ambitiously wind up at The Corner Hotel. Fellow Townsvillians Dragging Pianos will support all shows along with a “raft of wonderful local supports” including Oliver Mann at the Melbourne show.
After the tour winds up, The Middle East will regroup in Townsville to record their debut album. They’ve also been confirmed for Meredith and Homebake festivals in December.
