Erikson Tribute At The Toff

Continuing a tradition started by Swedish artist Johanna Billing in 2002, 15 bands from across Melbourne’s musical spectrum will come together to perform Roky Erikson’s ‘You Don't Love Me Yet’ this Sunday (August 16).

“You Don’t Have to Call It Music” at The Toff In Town will feature performances by Henry Wagons, Beaches, Sophie Brous, Fabulous Diamonds, Tic Toc Tokyo, Francis Plagne and Teeth & Tongue. Garage-punk duo Super Wild Horses will kick off proceedings with Zond bringing the evening to a deafening close.

Presented as part of Billing's exhibition, Tiny Movements, at the Australian Centre for Contemporary Arts, the event has taken place in over 20 countries with more than 200 cover versions recorded.
