Meredith On The Map

Related: Meredith.
It’s been a long time coming – 19 years in fact – but the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre is finally on the map.
In the 37th edition of venerable Victorian street directory Melway, the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre has been marked as an official landmark, alongside such Victorian institutions as Melbourne Airport, The Arts Precinct, Camy’s Shanghai Dumplings, Federation Square and Flemington Racecourse. Not bad for something organisers simply “made up”.
In other Meredith news, the ballot has opened for the 19th Meredith Music Festival to be held at the Supernatural Amphitheatre from December 11-13. The first batch of artists will be unveiled in “half a month or so”.

still waits for someone to scan appropriate melways page
still waits for someone to actually buy a new melways instead of getting it as a gift or a hand me down
Pfft, it's all Google Maps these days.
yeah, tell us when a google streetview car drives into it (mid festival)
Surely the names of all landmarks were simply ''made up'' at some point?
When enough people use the same name for a place, it's a landmark. Like the Nobbies at Phillip Island.
snigger
actually, i guess it's not that unfeasible for a google street view car to drive into the festival.
