Chapterfest At The Tote

The ghosts of Chapter’s past and present will drop in to The Tote on September 19 for Chapterfest, an all-night label love-in headlined by psych-folk wunderkind Tenniscoats from Japan.
Local bands on the bill include Primitive Calculators, who played their first show in 29 years at Chapter’s 18th party in January; Pikelet, who is currently writing tour diaries (and playing some shows in her spare time) overseas; Minimum Chips, who will reform again for a special one-off show; Adelaide slacker-pop trio Hit the Jackpot; and new additions to the Chapter stable The Twerps, Dick Diver and Bum Creek. The event will also mark the return to the live circuit of Jeremy Dower, who released an electronic EP on Chapter in 2002. Dower is promising a “live tropical lounge jazz spectacular”.
The first 50 payers through the door will receive a Chapter Music lucky dip, and Chapter Music cassettes will be available at the merch desk on CD-R for the first time in 15 years.
Tickets: $12 plus booking fees/$15 on the door.

i was just on the cannanes website and they say they are playing this year's chapterfest: http://cannanes.com/gigs.html. can anyone confirm / deny? excitement plus if this is true!

they do have an album coming out on chapter later in the year so it would make sense
