just texted her for you lady.
love you anok!!! :)
So I think my friend had it right when we got there.
Haven't listened to Electroclash stuff of late and I REALLY needed to be in the right frame of mind for it. I don't think The Emergency were the best supports to have tbh. It just made me want to go to sleep, and then waiting around for Fischerspooner to start was a little tedious.
The only grace was that dear Peaches and her lovely half were there. YAY!
Really enjoyed the visual show from the seats up the back. It was a bit rough, but made good. Would have been better probably if i wasn't so tired. Found it amusing when a whole bunch of people were dancing like they were in a caberet act halfway up the back of the theatre.
Beaches and My Disco tonight. I hope they don't draw the DJ's out. Play the bands DAMMIT.
Playing times for tonight?
don't know but if it's late i'm going to pass out.
playing times:
your animal 9:30
beaches 10:30
MY DISCO 11:45
is this sold out or likely too? i wanna go but i gotta till 11
work i meant
outrun were the embodiment of the worst electro-synth cliches... I liked the Emergency but totally agree that the wait was far too long before FS (although I think it was the guy who used to manage Hear Now was DJ and he put on great stuff including Eurythmics, Grace Jones and Spacemen 3...). Went to the front for Fischerspooner but near the amps my ears started to ache like crazy, so sat down in the stalls to watch the spectacle with my fun glow-in-the-dark daiqiri. It was a respectable Friday night's entertainment in the city... god, I love the Forum...
Brain Failure are playing tomorrow night. nice
did anyone else have trouble getting cameras in to these gigs? i was asked to leave mine at the front desk at my disco/beaches, and was told that it was on behalf of the bands?
I got a video camera in that I didn't even end up using.. it was in a dark bag at the bottom of my bag, so I made sure they didn't see it
