Collette Wirewalks To Sydney With Album #3

One of Melbourne’s favourite sons Ned Collette is back in the country and heading up north again. Collette has recently lead the type of peripatetic existence most artists could only dream of: touring Europe twice; basing himself in Glasgow to write his as-yet-untitled third solo album; surviving the final NZ-based Camp A Low Hum clusterfuck/greatest festival on earth; supporting Augie March around Australia and recently returning from mixing that third record in New York. And what have you been doing recently, huh ?

Collette, and his band Wirewalker, will be returning to Sydney’s Factory Theatre in what constitutes a rare NSW solo appearance. The show is ‘ostensibly an album preview show’ (have a heckle and see if you can change the running order) but don’t despair Sydney kids – Mssrs Collette, Talia and Bourke promise all the lighters-in-the-air, choral singalong moments from Future Suture and Jokes and Trials for your edification and opprobrium as well. Collette and Wirewalker will be supported by Sui Zhen and Wifey for the show.
