Lou Ridsdale, former publicist for reissues label Aztec Music, is definitely a multi-tasker. The part-time Artist Production Manager for Meredith Music Festival and sister event Golden Plains has somehow found time to set up her own record label, Z-Man Records. Z-Man Records will be released in Australia via Aztec Music and overseas through Shock Export. The first Australian releases are from Melbourne’s noise merchants Witch Hats and grunge revivalists Mother & Father. Expect more in the coming months.
In addition to this, Ridsdale has set up a touring company to complement her burgeoning music publicity company, Lance Rock Publicity. It’s name? Lance Rock Tours, naturally.
Lance Rock Tours is designed tour Australian & international bands in Australia, and will take Australian bands to Europe.
