Children Collide New Clip, Tour

Children Collide reckon their “new” single is so good, they just had to name it twice. In a sneaky reverse fakeout, ‘Frozen Armies’ – a cut from their 2005 debut EP We Three, Brave And True – has been repackaged and re-recorded (minus the lo-fi touches and girly harmonies) as ‘Chosen Armies’. Consider us fooled.
It is, however, accompanied by a revolutionary new clip, literally, which allows the viewer to control all camera angles using their mouse. The 360 degree video, believed to be a world’s first, was directed by Toby Angwin of Soup Kitchen Films, who had to choreograph and direct the entire shoot around the camera in one go. For those tech nerds out there, it was filmed using a Red One camera pointed vertically with a special panoramic lens. Watch it here.
The trio, who recently landed supports for Jane’s Addiction, will embark on a 16-date national tour in September.
