Brisvegas’ Tribute To YAI

You Am I are partly a Melbourne band, partly a Sydney band, but they’ll be celebrated by a slew of Brisbane bands at The Troubadour on Friday night (June 5).

A nod to one of the only good songs on 2001’s Dress Me Slowly, “Kick A Hole In The Sky: A Tribute To You Am I” will feature Speedstar, The Rocketsmiths, The Daisycutters, Blackwater Fever and Andrew Peterson (Shutterspeed). Hosted by local events company Footstomp Music, the show will mark the first appearance in three years for indie-pop five-piece Speedstar (pictured).

Entry is $15 and doors open at 8.30pm.
