Naked On The Vague Double Down

Sydney art-rock combo Naked on the Vague – Lucy Phelan and Matthew Hopkins – have doubled in size. The band unveiled new live members Lachlan (Crux, St Albans Kids) on drums and Nic (Ghosts of Television, Nhomea) on bass at an FBi Radio fundraiser at Serial Space last weekend.

Naked on the Vague will continue to play live as a four-piece for a series of upcoming shows including a performance at The Annandale on June 6 with Grey Daturas and Slug Guts, a support slot with US pop innovators Deerhunter and a “secret show on an island” on July 18 (which mainland fans will have to fly to get to – no shit).

The band’s latest 7” Chitty Chat is out now on Sacred Bones. Review here.
