Taking the concept of art-rock to Warholian proportions, Dappled Cities are on the hunt for emerging artists to help launch their forthcoming new record, Zounds.
The Sydney outfit will host two media events in “unique industrial locations” in Melbourne and Sydney in July – and they’re looking for 12 artists from each city to pretty things up. Work can be from a variety of mediums including installations, sculpture, performance art and video, with profits from the sale of the works going directly to the artist.
Pieces must be able to be confined within an industrial storage unit (whatever that means) and relate in some manner to a new track off Dappled’s upcoming full-length.
