Throsby’s Last Oz Tour For ’09

We’re only five months into 2009, but Holly Throsby will almost certainly embark on her last Australian tour for the year at the end of the month.

The four-date tour will include two performances at The Vanguard in Sydney, a stop at the Clarendon Guest House in Katoomba and a final show in Melbourne at the Toff in Town. Supports include Brisbane’s Little Scout (Katoomba and the second Vanguard show), The Deep Sea Arcade (first Vanguard show) and Your Animal (Melbourne).

A week after the tour, Throsby will jet off overseas for a string of shows in support of her third album, A Loud Call, which has just been released in Europe and Japan. She will also perform in New Zealand, New York and at Toronto's North by North East festival.

Heads up Holly fans for the great charity event in 27 august 2010 with Josh Pyke and Boy + Bear at the Annandale (Sydney). It's called Busking for Change, and the 'change' refers to is aboriginal literacy programs. Good on ya, Holly, B+B and Josh.

Sounds great.

Meanwhile, I believe she's finished her new album. Can't wait.
