Blackman Joins Tucker B's

Former Purplene mainman Matt Blackman has been a busy boy of late. In addition to his work with Charge Group and Palace of Fire, who made their live debut in April, he’s now officially joined the ranks of Perth’s Tucker B’s as drummer “number 27”.
Blackman will hit the road with the band when they launch their fifth album, Nightmares in the Key of (((((WOW))))), in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth in June. Recorded with Burke Reid (The Drones, Jack Ladder, Mess Hall, Gerling) at Big Jesus Burger Studios in Sydney, the album reportedly “delves deep into the band's wide-eyed wonder of relationships”. It’s said to re-visit the guitar thuggery of previous albums Chubby and Bish Bosh II: The Bosh Bosh, as well as reveal some “beautiful yet strange” pop melodies. Blackman’s Palace of Fire bandmate Chris Ross (ex-Wolfmother) even makes a jazz-sax cameo. David Sanborn anyone?
Nightmares in the Key of (((((WOW))))) is out on May 30 through Low Transit Industries.

Hilarious photo of Blackman.
you're about a year too late, but anyway.
A year?
He was playing drums for them at the super8 diaries fundraiser. Stone Age.
it's now official. this is his recording debut.
I'm starting a Hobbs v Jones thread so that these frequent stoushes about M+N content can have a public audience.
It'll be like the Mangan thread, only with less dick.
a year, two years, a million years. more accurate than this article.
maybe you should write their press releases filterfeed?
if i wrote their press releases then i wouldn't have time to sit around at my job correcting other people's mistakes.
be reasonable now.
i want to marry all 4 of those men and have little baby B's.
hurry up and tour.
