Lost Valentinos Score UK Deal

The man responsible for signing the White Stripes to XL Recordings and breaking both The Vines and The Avalanches in the UK is now championing Lost Valentinos (formerly The Valentinos) abroad.
Leo Silverman will release Lost Valentinos’ ‘Midnights’ through his new label Dummy. Due for release in mid-May, the single will feature a remix by disco queens Fan Death, as well as a “15-minute marathon mix” by Emperor Machine. The Sydney fashionistas will head over to the UK in May to play a string of “impossibly cool” club dates including Yo Yo (curated by Polydor’s A&R Seb Chew), the Clash Magazine party, White Heat and the Dummy launch party.
But before then, the band have local business to attend to. They will launch new single ‘Serio’ in their hometown of Sydney on May 1. Available through iTunes and on limited edition gold-foil black-disc CD (for the Valentinos completists out there), the single is taken from their forthcoming debut Cities of Gold, which will be out in July. The album was produced by renowned DJ Ewan Pearson (The Rapture, M83, Junior Boys).
