With songs from their debut album Tuff Teef currently doing the radio rounds in the UK, Brisbane’s I Heart Hiroshima have announced their first European tour in May.
The Brisbane trio will play shows in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, France, the UK and the Netherlands as special guests of London art rockers The Rakes.
The band recently finished tracking the follow-up to 2007’s Tuff Teef in “the long grass” of Runcorn in their native Queensland. It’s expected to be out later this year. They’ve also recorded a cover of The Chills’ classic ‘Pink Frost’ with Sekiden’s Mirko Vogel, which is available through iTunes.
Before they head off on their European adventure, I Heart Hiroshima will play three free Friday shows at Rics in Brisbane.
