Two Aus Acts For Fuji

Despite our relative proximity to Japan, Rowland S Howard and bluesman Jeff Lang appear to be the only Australian artists flying the proverbial flag at Fuji Rock in July.
There were no more spots for local acts in the festival’s second announcement yesterday (March 30), but more may be added in the next round of acts scheduled to be announced soon.
Held at the Naeba Ski Resort in Japan from July 24-26, the festival is generally a good indicator of who’ll be touring Australia mid-year. Bands already confirmed for the three-day event include Animal Collective, Franz Ferdinand, Bad Brains, Public Enemy, The Killers, Oasis, Tortoise and Weezer.

Why do Weezer always go to Japan and never come here? And yes, I know they play ten shows to packed out stadiums etc but screw you Weezer.
Uh, sorta heavily rumoured to be headlining Splendour pops.
Uh, stupid me.
Uh, yeah.
Despite our relative proximity to Japan
what relative proximity? its over nine hours to japan from sydney, and only about an hour more than that from japan to europe.
although if you're saying our relative proximity compared to fucking mars, then yes, i agree with you. but david bowie isn't even on the bill so why you'd bring up that comparison is beyond me.
Uh, comments in jumbled up order!
Uh oh...
Its not jumbled, its alphabametical, and then chronological within this!
my comment rules!
Please, please, please take your band with you Rowland!
