Wolf & Cub have finally put a name to their long-awaited sophomore LP. Dubbed Science & Sorcery (note the trademarked ampersand), the album will be out on Dot Dash on April 18. Here’s an exclusive tracklisting to tide you over until then:

The follow-up to their acclaimed 2006 debut Vessels, Science & Sorcery was recorded with Chris Colonna (aka Bumblebeez) in Braidwood, NSW. But despite Colonna’s hip-hop pedigree, frontman Joel Byrne is reluctant to call it a departure. It's up to the individual listener, he says.
“We never attempted to alter the outcome, ‘our sound’ or the songs that make up the album, but there was a conscience effort to change the procedure that created the outcome,” says Byrne of the recording process. “I’ll leave it up to others to decide if the sound has gone anywhere else, because I don’t know where it was before. It’s still Wolf & Cub, just another piece of the puzzle.”
