Tucker B’s will preview tracks from their fantastically titled fifth album Nightmares in the key of ((((((WOW))))))) in Melbourne later this month.
The band will play two shows (at The Tote in Collingwood on March 21 and at Bar Open in Fitzroy on March 22), where they will be selling a very limited cassingle previewing two tracks from the forthcoming album: ‘Bear’, a song about “developing the habits of a dummy and slowly ruining relationships”; and ‘Jungle’, about being “reliable and trustworthy”.
The album was recorded with Burke Reid (Gerling, The Drones, Jack Ladder) at Big Jesus Burger Studios in Sydney; the first time the band have recorded an album outside of their “favourite jetties” and “kitchens”.
