Following in the footsteps of Snowman and Sparkadia, who have relocated to London and Berlin, respectively, Teenagersintokyo will be the next band to go in search of fame, fortune and NME snippets in Europe. The band will relocate to London to record their debut album for Back Yard Recordings, home to The Gossip and Chromeo.
To say bon voyage to their fans and friends, Teenagersintokyo will preview tracks from their forthcoming LP at The Hopetoun Hotel on March 14. But the generosity doesn’t end there. The band have produced a limited run of T-shirts, as well as free copies of previously unreleased remixes by Seekae and G.L.O.V.E.S. (Yama from Damn Arms), especially for the show.
To help fund their venture, Teenagersintokyo will sell some of their personal wares at a garage sale at Blender Gallery and the Just Shoot Lomography Store in Sydney on March 7. The gallery will also be arming the band with a stash of Lomo cameras to document their travels abroad.
You can stay up to date with their adventures via weekly installments on M+N.

Look at the tall girl on the far right.
Where did she get that puffy shirt? A pirate costume shop?
Can anybody who goes to this please tell me what Smoking Vaults are like? Curious and curiouser.
I noticed Linda Marigliano is back on JJJ, Home so soon?
