Pyke To Auction Guitar Boat
News posted Wednesday, January 28 2009 at 12:00 AM.
Related: Josh Pyke.
Where some see an acoustic guitar, Josh Pyke sees a motor boat.
The sensitive new-age singer-songwriter will auction off the SS Maton, a guitar-shaped vessel created especially for the video to his single 'Make You Happy', on eBay next week. The auction will go live on February 2 and end on February 12, not-so coincidentally the day Pyke kicks off his national Chimney's Afire album tour in Fremantle, WA.
The “majority share” of proceeds will fund an event called “Busking For Change” in conjunction with the Indigenous Literacy Project. Unfortunately, the beer-glass trophy also seen in the clip isn’t for sale.

The guitar boat is awesome. I still have reservations about his beard, but the boat was awesome.
Dang, I already own the Duran Duran ''Rio'' yacht.
I'm saving my money for something decent, like a SS Washburn.
