Introducing … Wifey
News posted Monday, December 1 2008 at 11:00 AM.
Related: Wifey.
New Sydney outfit Wifey will release their debut EP — the Wayne Connolly-produced Salt Sugar Fat — in early 2009.
Featuring Andy Calvert from gIVEgOODs, the band formed in May 2008 for a University of Sydney “Battle of the Bands”, which they won despite not having any Pearl Jam covers in their repertoire (well, none that we know of). Since then they have supported Smudge, Richard In Your Mind, 78 Saab, Youth Group, Dead Letter Chorus and Howe Gelb from Giant Sand.
Wifey will continue on the support trail this month playing with Peabody at Spectrum on December 12, Watt Riot and Border Thieves at World Bar on December 19 and Melanie Hornsnell and the Sailmakers at The Annandale on December 21.

Apparently treetops/brutals are organising us a gig in August FF. Though I shouldn't be talking to you since you blanked me at the Union that time.
And thank you Zaphod.
