Kilbey’s Painkiller In Concert

Painkiller, a new outfit featuring Steve Kilbey from The Church, will perform at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory on December 22.
What began as a solo project for Kilbey – his first in seven years – has gradually taken on a life of its own. Painkiller also features Church cohort Tim Powles, Ricky Maymi from the Brian Jones Town Massacre, Scott Ryper from the Black Ryders and renowned mastering engineer William Bowden.
Painkiller released its self-titled debut – a collection of psychedelic pop songs and space-rock anthems – in September. A digital/US release is also in the works.
Joining Painkiller for the Oxford Art Factory show will be Melbourne’s All India Radio and Sydney trio ASTREETLIGHTSONG.
