Okay, so the headline was a tad misleading. But while Love of Diagrams may not be “citing artistic differences amicably”, they are indeed splitting … a 7” that is, with New Zealand-cum-Sydney outfit Songs.
Released by Popfrenzy, the 7" features exclusive tracks from both bands -- Songs with ‘It's Dry’ and Love of Diagrams with ‘A Part Of You’. Available at selected record stores nation-wide, the 7” will also be sold at Songs and Love of Diagrams shows and soon at www.popfrenzy.com.au.
To celebrate their union, Love of Diagrams and Songs will perform in Sydney on November 21 at Spectrum and in Melbourne on November 22 at the Northcote Social Club. Songs will also be playing an extra show in Melbourne the following night (November 23) at the Birmingham Hotel in Collingwood with Flying Scribble, The Twerps and Dick Driver.
