Three years after his first live performance, Brisbane singer-songwriter Tom Cooney will launch his debut album Presque Vu (French for “almost seen” and/or “yum”) across the east coast in October.

Set for release on October 11 through El Nino El Nino/Inertia, the album features cameos by members of Whitley, Subaudible Hum and The Boat People.

Described as “mesmerizing” by Brisbane’s Sunday Mail, Cooney has performed with the likes of M. Ward and Fionn Regan.
