Thinking of coming to the Flip Out festival a little late? Think again.
Organisers of the day-long festival at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel on September 6 will present the first 200 people through the doors with an Aarght Records/Stained Circles sampler with 18 tracks. Artists include Eddy Current Suppression Ring, Jay Reatard, The UV Race, The Dirtbombs, M.O.T.O, Knife Fight, The Ooga Boogas and Clockcleaner.
The inaugural festival will feature 13 bands from Australia, the US, France and New Zealand; a record fair; a rooftop barbecue; and the The Gimme Shelter and Primitive DJs in the front bar.
Tickets are $30 and are available from Missing Link, Polyester and online at The Corner Box Office.
