Rubber Records have announced four more acts for its 20th anniversary gig at the Northcote Town Hall.
The Grapes, The Exploders, Record Producer (DJ set) and T-Rek (DJ Set) will join Cordrazine, Even, Hot Little Hands, Casanovas, DJ Peril (1200 Techniques) and a reformed Oscarlima for the September 19 gig.
Founded with “no long-term goals” by David Vodicka, the label has helped launch the careers of 1200 Techniques, Jet and Cordrazine, outlasting its indie peers – Jason Reynolds’ Summershine, Bruce Milne’s Au Go Go – in the process.
