Holly Throsby ain’t afraid of a little hard work. Fresh from shows in the UK and Ireland with Paul Kelly and Tim Rogers, the nomadic singer-songwriter has returned to Australia for an extensive tour of her own.
Launching her new album A Loud Call, Throsby commenced the tour in Alice Springs on August 22 and will zigzag her way across the country to Cairns, taking in 22 cities and towns along the way.
A Loud Call was recorded in Nashville with engineer and producer Mark Nevers (Lambchop, Will Oldham). It features guest performances by Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy and members of Lambchop and Silver Jews.
