Adalita Says ‘No’ To Fur

Adalita has followed in the footsteps of Chrissie Hynde yet again. But this time, it’s by becoming the latest campaigner against fur. The Magic Dirt frontwoman appears in a new print advertisement for PETA Asia-Pacific, holding a rabbit in her arms with the tagline, “Do it for him. Say ‘no’ to fur.”
The singer says she wants devotees of 'The Dirt' to give fur-bearing animals a break by not wearing their skins.
"By wearing or buying fur, consumers – knowingly or unknowingly – are supporting one of the most hideous industries on the planet," Adalita said in a release. "There's no excuse to wear fur."
Magic Dirt released their 12th album, Girl, on July 5.
